CaptureOne have just released verison 4 of their RAW processing software called
Capture One 4 (formerly CaptureOne LE) which has some fantastic features. Whilst it is very, very, heavy on RAM usage and it lacks in certain area like Meta Data editing, the image editing features are cool. The highlights and shadow sliders are particularly good, as are the presets for exposure and levels.
This is a handy little package for RAW image alteration/manipulation, and well worth checking out.
